The Samaritan Counseling Center offers Preparing for Marriage - an educational opportunity for couples to explore the dynamics of marriage.
SCC uses the most advanced form of the PREPARE/ENRICH inventory, an online survey that you take with your partner to help you identify the unique strengths and potential growth areas of your premarital relationship. You will then meet with one of our Premarital Counselors for two hours to interpret the inventory and help you:

Each couple will receive the "Building a Strong Marriage Workbook" which contains exercises for
developing skills in resolving conflict, setting couple goals and developing a budget. The PREPARE/ENRICH inventory is the most comprehensive premarital assessment tool available.
The consultation includes the inventory, the scoring of the inventory, handouts and a two-hour
session with one of the premarital counselors:
The fee is $225 per couple. If a member of a Partner in Ministry church, the fee is $200 per
couple.
The inventory is taken online and requires approximately 45 minutes to complete. The inventory should be taken individually by each person and the couple should not discuss their answers until after the inventory has been submitted for scoring.
To schedule, please complete the registration form and return it to the Samaritan Counseling
Center with payment. When your registration is received, you will be contacted by SCC to schedule an appointment
for the consultation.
