We have a vested interest in supporting businesses and organizations that “do well by doing good,” because ethical practices and social responsibility contribute to the mental and emotional health of those employed by them and who benefit from their services. We hope it will provide the community with an awareness of the importance of ethics and a forum to acknowledge those who maintain and practice ethical behavior in the workplace and in their lives. We look to this as a day to honor the highest standards of ethics, to broaden the discussion of ethics in the community and to provide opportunities to sponsors and participants for education. The program has generated widespread community support and the Samaritan Counseling Center is grateful to those who volunteer their time and expertise to make this award a successful annual event. We would like to thank those on the Ethics in Business Steering Committee. To review the award criteria, please click here.
