Begins October 15, 2009

Does Your Child:
  • Have difficulty making and keeping friends?
  • Have difficulty understanding how others may think or feel?
  • Get left out of social activities?

Then this group may be just what your child needs!

"From Monologue to Dialogue" is a social skills training group designed for children in grades 6, 7 and 8 with social skills deficits (including children with Nonverbal Learning Disorders, Asperger's Disorder and Hgh-Functioning Autism). The group runs for six sessions and children are encouraged to participate in all six sessions. The group will give your child an opportunity to learn the basics of communication and practice those skills with other children in the group. Children will also be encouraged to practice what they are learning outside the group and report back to the group on their experiences.
